Working the threshold
The movement portion of this class will focus on single person movement in the Active Threat Environment. The thought being that the more confidence a single officer/deputy has in a single person response, the more likely they are to do the job. Fear/lack of confidence leads to hesitation. Once the momentum is stopped, it is not likely to be regained.
Our course looks to build confidence in the officer/deputy by enhancing their abilities and teaching them about available cover and best practices while responding to the Active Threat.
